The Community Foundation serves as an umbrella foundation that allows families, organizations and individuals  the opportunity to establish endowed funds, carefully designed to serve their philanthropic vision.

Terms like 'unrestricted,' 'restricted,' and 'donor advised' tend to scare people into thinking giving through the Community Foundation is all complicated, but it is not. The only thing a donor needs to do is answer the question, "What do I love about our community that I want to extend or protect in the future?"
